On Sunday, May 19, we will celebrate Pentecost, which to many is considered the birthday of the church. This is a day in which we remember that the church, from its very birth, is a tapestry of diversity and people from many backgrounds coming together for the sake of Jesus’ work on earth.

We also, through readings, prayers, and songs - ancient and new - celebrate that we do not do this work alone but are empowered through the mysterious presence of the Holy Spirit moving in us and among us.

So, join us on May 19 and bring a friend with you as we raise our voices like the mighty rushing wind that filled the upper room 2000 years ago in Jerusalem.
